I have to be honest this one is a bit hard for me. I think Halo reach was an excellent story, a good ending but not the one I would have preferred. However, when it comes to the Master Chief game I think I enjoyed Halo 4 the most. And interestingly enough while I really disliked the story decision in Halo 5, I feel like it is by far the best cinematic experience. But what they chose to do with Cortana was a major mistake in my mind.
