I have missed feelings about this, Denzel is a legendary actor. I would have preferred him to share the screen with Russell Crowe. I initially read rumors that Gladiator 2 was coming back with Russell Crowe, I just couldn't imagine how that would work out given the ending to gladiator 1. But upon first hearing the news about Denzel's involvement I became intrigued on seeing the two actors share the screen together again, like they did in American Gangster.
