FTC finalises order that Epic must pay $245m to consumers over ‘unwanted’ Fortnite purchases

This story is fascinating. I find it really hard to believe that a company as big and imporant as Epic is to the gaming industry would actually do some of these things "intentionally", but maybe its just much easier to settle than take this to court.

This also gives the FTC a win, as they get to make a bit of a splash about protecting consumers from influential tech/gaming companies that may try to take advantage.
