The Last of Us actually had higher average ratings than House of the Dragon

I'll be honest and admit to being completely surprised. I've honestly found the show to be entertaining but not exactly what I was looking for.

I need more infected, I need Joel to be more active, emphasizing the emotional drama is nice but it often times feels like they've forgotten the danger aspects.

The world just doesn't feel as dangerous. The infected feel like a nuisance instead of the constant threat that they are. I really think they should have emphasized the importance of moving quietly, using the environment to create distractions and utilizing and crouched careful posture throughout, because anything could happen at any moment.

House of the Dragon on the other hand is filled with tons of characters, it has an epic scale that spans years with well established characters, awesome visuals and complex character interactions. It feels much more like appointment television to me.
