When you sit back and think about it, it really is incredible that actors on the level of Dwayne Johnson and Henry Cavil are not going to be continuing in their superhero roles.

The only thing I can think of is that the studios want to cut costs, start over from scratch and are hoping that the superhero IP itself is strong enough to bring fans in to the theaters to watch these movies.
