I thought this was a high quality analysis by MrMattyPlays. There was something about that ship that seemed familiar and now that he points it out, it all makes perfect sense.

Also, I've long suspected that there will be some kind of space science/magic in the game and while that is still not confirmed the more I see of the game, the more I suspect it will be in there.

At the very least I think that the player will be able to communicate with alien species because of the artifact.
