I honestly don't think this is a big deal. At the end of the day Xbox is going to have a showcase event and likely show off a bunch of games.

Eventually though, once Xbox gets its first party releases together they need to hold an in person xbox branded event. We are still humans after all and because of that there is still something special about being on a stage in front of thousands of people who are excited to see your games. Blizzard has their Blizzcons Xbox should have an Xcon😅 Maybe not named that but you get the point.
