Sony Ordered To Reveal Third-Party Exclusivity Deals As Part Of FTC's Activision Blizzard Buyout Lawsuit

I think this is an interesting development, apparently Microsoft seems to have requested to see exclusivity contracts dating as far back as 2012. The judge allowed the request for documentation but limited to 2019. That's only roughly 4 years. I think this will be an effective argument for Microsoft if this case ever made it to court.

Being able to show the market leader(PlayStation) pursuing exclusivity deals over a long period of time with the same game that they say would give Microsoft a huge advantage(call of duty), actually helps Microsoft case. Since Microsoft is saying that they will put call of duty on every system and not just on xbox it allows them to argue that more gamers will be able to play Call of Duty, not less.
