It's a pity that Age of Empires 4 didn't release simultaneously with console and PC. But it seems like the team really wanted to play it safe with the franchise and not rush things , in terms of new features or porting it to xbox.

I think it would be a good idea to get as many people as possible exposed to the gameplay and then from there start churning out some high quality DLC.

AOE IV should release sometime in 2023 on consoles.
