So we finally seem to have some solid confirmation that Final Fantasy 16 will have a party of characters although we will only be controlling the main character. The other characters will be controlled by the AI.

It still feels like Square is targeting the God of War/Elden Ring crowd. I can't blame them. The sales numbers are huge for those type of action focused games but as a fan of the old classics, its still an adjustment for me.

All in all, this still makes me optimistic for FF16. I hope its a return to form for the franchise.
