So we'll be able to get rid of negatives of traits through in-game quests, it also seems like space travel has been overly simplified because its too painful to make sure your ship has fuel? That's a little weird. But I can understand how some less casual gamers could be overly annoyed. My thoughts are if its a bit too annoying having to refuel so often, just allow fuel to last longer.

Also it seems like there is some sort of dialogue persuasion system using points. That looks fun but may require a bit of adjustment period. I imagine some players might struggle with it.
