In video that I had previously seen of him I was like okay I definitely see the potential. He's long, and lean and mobile. But this game was completely different level of potential. This was dominant, eye popping potential. What's gonna go unnoticed by many is that Scoot Henderson was the guard playing for the Ignite team and he looked great too(28 points). I just read one article saying that he looks more impressive than Ja Morant at this age. The NBA draft is gonna be fun. Wembanyama played so great that some NBA executives are already suggesting that he should shut it down and not play another game the rest of the year until he's drafted! 😂 This is a great reason why tanking should not be rewarded. Teams should not be allowed to purposely lose to get a great potential talent like this. I would much prefer something akin to free agency or to freeze out teams that aren't investing in their organizations doing everything they can to be competitive.
