I for one am very glad to hear this. I made a point to avoid Cyberpunk 2077 so I could experience it in its full glory exactly as the developers originally intended. When I heard about the performance problems on last gen platforms I was surprised but not shocked.

This game was always to pretty to launch on last gen consoles. But the publisher obviously was making a business decision to include as many platforms as possible so they could tap into the huge potential player base.

Now that these next gen consoles have basically been released for 2 years, they should have a decent sized player base that can support the games future development moving forward.
