I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the first season. I was not expecting to like it as much as I did. As the seasons moved on, I came to realize that season 1 is easily my favorite. The seven deadly sins is a pretty interesting fantasy world. Melodias is actually holding out on a lot of relevant information and the storyline can get really convoluted. Still season 1 is pretty great. And full of surprises. I imagine that people that haven't had any exposure to the manga(like me) will really enjoy it.
