I've always liked the early stages of Civilization and found myself becoming uninterested the further along I got in the game. That being said I've owned every version of Civilization sin CivII. So I'm a huge Civ fan. But this game looks like it's combining elements of Crusader Kings and Civilization to make something special. Graphically the game looks great. I'm glad they avoided the cartoon like graphics of the latest Civ game. Though admittedly I haven't played it yet so I don't know how it measures up performance wise.
